A werkfilmben Másik János zeneszerző, Orosz Anna Ida animációs film referens, Fazekas Eszter, a restaurálás vezetője, és Ráduly György, az NFI Filmarchívum igazgatója beszélnek Kovásznai György Habfürdő című filmjének restaurálásáról. A Nemzeti Filmintézet online mutatja be a frissen restaurált Habfürdő című animációs kultfilmet. A filmet a közönség két alkalommal láthatja az NFI Filmarchívum Youtube csatornáján: az első vetítés a rendező, Kovásznai György születésnapján, május 15-én 19 órakor kezdődik, másnap szintén 19 órától lesz az ismétlés. A 4K-ban restaurált Habfürdőt az ACE (Association des Cinémathèques Européennes - Európai Filmarchívumok Egyesülete) által szervezett és a Creative Europe által támogatott Season of Classics Films elnevezésű projekt keretében mutatja be az NFI. A projekt célja, hogy elősegítse az európai filmművészet gyöngyszemeinek digitális restaurálását, és széleskörű bemutatásukkal felhívja a figyelmet az európai filmarchívumok munkájára. Az online premier után a kultikus film május 27-től a magyarországi mozikba is visszatér a Pannónia Entertainment forgalmazásában. ///// Bubble Bath (Habfürdő) – online debut of the musical animation to the rhythm of a heartbeat The National Film Institute Hungary – Film Archive is presenting the newly restored animation cult film Bubble Bath (Habfürdő) online. The film will be free-to-view worldwide with English and French subtitles on two occasions on the NFI Film Archive’s YouTube channel: the first screening starts at 7 pm on 15 May, birthday of the director György Kovásznai, and there is a repeat screening the next day, similarly at 7 pm. With an introduction on the film’s preservation and the filmmaker’s biography. The new restoration in 4K and online release of Bubble Bath (Habfürdő) is made possible thanks to A Season of Classic Films, an initiative of ACE (Association des Cinémathèques Européennes) with the financial support of Creative Europe. The goal of A Season of Classic Films is to encourage the digital restoration of gems of European film art and, through free-admission screening events online and all over Europe, to draw attention to the work of European film archives. Twenty-two institutions from all over Europe, including NFI, are taking part in the initiative, connecting the public with cinema history and the preservation of film heritage. #ASeasonofClassicFilms
